What better way to celebrate the finest travel brands in Africa and the Indian Ocean than at Sugar Beach, Mauritius. In June 2019, the elite of the travel trade gathered at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony, to find out who would be crowned as the best of the best. 

Travelstart was nominated for both Africa and South Africa’s leading Online Travel Agency 2019 and took home the prize for South Africa’s leading OTA. This may come as no surprise considering Travelstart’s history with WTA being previously nominated for Africa’s leading OTA, South Africa’s leading OTA and World’s leading OTA back in 2018.
